Apologia High School Chemistry Syllabus

Students need the following:

Notebook of any type: Used for completion of assignments, and experiments.

16 Tabs – one for each chapter of the book.

Apologia Exploring Creation with Chemistry. 2^nd Edition

Access to computer for completing assignments, and accessing blog for Chemistry.

Expectations for Lab Write Ups
DUE Tuesday after Class.  (Writing them up before class is helpful)

Correct way to do the Math Portion of Homework.

Sample Homework 

1-  Copy the Problem
2- Write down all conversion factors that are needed
3- Solve the problem.  Use the natural lines on the paper as fraction bars.
4- Circle the answer
5- Skip spaces.

Writing legibly, and in a specific format, helps parents and teachers see your work clearly, and makes seeing mistakes and correct answers easier.  A happy parent and happy teacher are more apt to give students the benefit of the doubt, and give credit for work.
